Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is the ultimate family adventure park featuring an unparalleled combination of exotic animal encounters, live entertainment and world-class thrill rides. As one of the top zoos in North America, Busch Gardens provides more diverse ways to get up-close to animals than any place outside of Africa. The Broadway-style KaTonga – Musical Tales from the Jungle carries you to the heart of the jungle through music, dance and spectacular puppetry. Busch Gardens' newest adventure SheiKra, America's only dive coaster, is already a legend with thrill-seekers worldwide. It's 200 feet up, 90 degrees straight down, and like nothing else in the world.

Sheikra

The name SheiKra evokes the power and speed of an African hawk as it twists and plunges - giving riders a 70 mph, adrenaline-pumping experience like no other. At 200 feet, SheiKra now takes the crown as Florida's tallest roller coaster. This thrill machine is also the tallest dive coaster in the world and the first of its kind to incorporate an Immelmann loop (a rolling maneuver), a second, 138-foot dive into an underground tunnel and a water-feature finale. SheiKra offers three minutes of over-the-edge excitement on more than half a mile of steel track.

SheiKra serves as the centerpiece of Busch Gardens' newly themed Stanleyville area, which also includes the new 500-seat, indoor/outdoor Zambia Smokehouse. The restaurant is situated on the coaster's perimeter, allowing guests to be a part of the action while dining.

The Rides

	Montu Feel the ultimate rush on Montu -- one of the tallest and longest inverted roller coasters in the world! Experience the thrill of an inverse diving loop and a 60-foot vertical loop while you endure speeds of over 60 miles per hour and a G-force of 3.85!
	Kumba Come try Kumba, one of the world's best roller coasters! After the blood-curling thrill of an initial 135 foot drop, you will plunge from 110 feet into a diving loop, feel a full 3 seconds of absolute weightlessness while spiraling 360 degrees, and tear through one of the world's largest vertical loops.

Scorpion

Feel the "sting" of Scorpion's terrifying 60-foot drop and 360 degree loop at incredible speeds. You can find the Scorpion in Timbuktu... If you dare!

Python

Experience the twists of the Python. This thrilling roller coaster will make you scream through a double spiraling corkscrew and an intense 70-foot plunge -- just for starters!

Congo River Rapids

Encounter the swift-flowing white water of the Congo River Rapids. Spin through a geyser, face an ominous waterfall and other thrilling obstacles in a 12-person raft. You must be at least 42" to ride this ride.

Tanganyika Tidal Wave

Watch out when your seemingly tranquil jungle journey aboard a 20-passenger boat ends with a sudden plunge down a 55-foot drop, creating a tidal wave that gets everyone sopping wet on the Tanganyika Tidal Wave!

Gwazi

Gwazi is Busch Gardens Tampa Bay's mammoth double wooden coaster.

It is also the Southeast's largest and fastest double wooden roller coaster, boasting more than 1.25 million board feet of lumber and more than 2 million bolted connections. Named after a fabled lion with a tiger's head, Gwazi races riders through almost 7,000 feet of track and six "flyby" maneuvers in which trains pass within feet of each other at crossing speeds of 100 mph.

Gwazi is in reality two distinct coasters intertwined:
Gwazi Tiger has an element that gives riders a slalom sensation, more like a bobsled than a wooden coaster.
Gwazi Lion's highlight is a seemingly continuous number of spirals.

Mystic Sheiks of Morocco

Move your feet to the swing of the Mystic Sheiks of Morocco and snap your fingers to the music of their eight-piece, all brass marching band.

Animal Attractions

You can enjoy the World of Birds live show, see our feather-filled aviary, and experience the powerful presence of bald and golden eagles in Eagle Canyon. After the show you can talk to conservation educators about how to attract birds to your own backyard.

Bird Gardens Soar over to our Bird Gardens area to check out almost 500 tropical birds from around the globe! These birds will amaze and delight you with their glorious colors and raucous calls.

Birds of Prey

Take a fascinating journey into the world of rare, majestic and remarkable raptors, from eagles to free-flying falcons -- the Birds of Prey have returned in their newest, most incredible presentation yet!

Edge of Africa

Have the most intense safari experience outside of Africa here at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Immerse yourself in the culture of the African continent as you experience its majestic wildlife as you only dreamed of before.

Guests are taken on safari with hippopotamuses, hyenas, meerkats, vultures, a Nile crocodile, baboons and more.

Lory Landing

The domed habitat showcases a variety of brilliantly-colored birds including several species of parrots, including lorikeets, as well as hornbills and pheasants in both free-flight and observational environments.

Rhino Rally

Rhino Rally transports guests aboard an off-road adventure through the wilds of Africa, blending up-close animal encounters with an unpredictable safari competition ending in a raging river thrill ride.

Myombe Reserve

Enter the lush forest where gorillas and chimpanzees can be viewed in the naturalistic habitat of Myombe Reserve. Tour the Great Ape Domain amid waterfalls and through shrouds of mist and fog to get an up close look at these majestic primates.

Serengeti Railway

See the beauty of the Serengeti Plains and continue around the park making stops in Stanleyville and Nairobi on the Serengeti Express Railway.

Busch Gardens' Serengeti Plain is famous for its free-roaming herds of African animals. There is no better way to see giraffes, zebras, antelope, gazelle, ostrich and much more up close on the Plain.

King Tut's Tomb

Travel back in time to the mysteries of King Tut's Tomb. You'll get to visit a realistic replication of King Tut's burial site as it was being excavated in the 1920's. Kids can do digging of their own!

Sky Ride

View the spectacular scenery as you fly through the air from the Crown Colony area to the Congo on the opposite side of the park on Skyride.

Land of Dragons

Includes our three-story-tall tree house, an enchanted forest, one-of-a-kind slides, a gentle waterfall, wonderful rides and, of course, friendly dragons! The Land of the Dragons' stage features the daily Captain Kangaroo Show: Roo Crew Live.
